I am drawn to landscapes of the mystical, where human and geological temporalities intertwine, and I strive to materialize the invisible narratives of territories in transformation, exploring any trace of the past capable of resurfacing.
I dream of image-fossils.
I question the spiritual in nature and light, interrogating the substance of memory, the animism of spaces, and the passage of time. I enter into a dialogue with the image that hides beneath the light-sensitive surface, and with the image that seeks the trace of the absent.
Spaces that appear empty or abandoned yet carry a strong atmospheric presence intrigue me; I work through the acceptance of the invisible, accepting that there are things that escape perception: images of disappearing worlds, fragments of reality captured in silver grains.
My work exists in the tension and transitions of what is no longer. I cultivate a material relationship in communication with what is not yet. By hybridizing the exploration of the image with installation, text, and sculpture, I offer a reflective return to the medium of photography and its genetic matter, a prayer of instability and suspension.
